Devan Cameron

I have been practicing the craft of cooking since I was a teenager and have been fortunate enough to work with some very talented people throughout my career in Italy, France, the Netherlands and Canada. After the 3 year culinary arts program at George Brown College in Toronto, I shipped off to Italy for an apprenticeship in Michelin-starred (2001) Osteria del Vicario. Returning to Canada I then proceeded to get my ass kicked in various demanding restaurants in the city of Toronto.

In spring of 2016 (right after the devastating attacks), I landed a position at Frenchie bar á vin in Paris and stayed for 2 years. Cooking and living there changed my life forever.

Today I live with my girlfriend in the beautiful city of Maastricht, a university city on the southern tip of The Netherlands.

I’ve found a couple cool recipes along the way and this blog is a way to share them.
